Maybe I am just really easily amused but I watched it for almost 15 minutes. Basically it was the words you, we and a bunch of different verbs rotating and moving around "I." I thought it was symbolic of how even though life is always moving around us that our focus (as people) is usually ourselves.

Another piece that I enjoyed was
in the white darkness by Reiner Strasser and M.D. Coverley. This piece intrigued me because it was a representation of how we retrieve memories. Each dot you could click on would slowly reveal a picture or words or sometimes make a sound. The use of color was beautiful. All the memories were pastel and would begin out of focus and bright, which really helped me see how they were trying to portray the remembering of memories.

I've enjoyed looking at this side of writing, that isn't just words on a paper. I thought at first it would be constricting to the reader, like it might limit the reader's imagination and therefore, ability to connect to the story. But I definately felt otherwise after exploring these pieces.

The Obligatory "hey this is me" post

So I started this blog for my English 344 class. I am a junior at George Mason University, unlike most people in this class I am not an English major. I am a psychology major. I chose to take this class as an elective because I enjoy writing. I mostly write poetry (and a lot of songs) and a few short stories here and there. I'm kind of a complex person, but I'm a pretty nice kid, so if you want to know more about me talk to me.
